Sparks Theatrical Hire
took space at Cannon Wharf three years ago. Outgrowing
their initial premises after two years they doubled their
space in 2003. They now need to move to even larger space,
again within Cannon Wharf. |
“One of the main reasons for choosing Cannon Wharf was
its ease of access to the West End, which is one of our core industries.
It takes us 20 minutes to drive into the West End from here. In
our business if anything goes wrong it's important to be able to
get to the client quickly. Also, we have many smaller clients who
want to be able to reach us by Tube; so the proximity of both Canada
Water and Surrey Quays stations is very useful.
“Certainly all our clients started to look at us very differently once we had
proper premises at Cannon Wharf. The fact that we have 24-hour security
is very useful. We often work quite late, and it is reassuring for
our clients to know that we can leave something in reception for them
to collect if they need it urgently.
“They made it very easy for us when we were moving in. It
couldn't have been easier.
“They seem to be very supportive of what we are doing. There
was a time when we were looking to expand; LBC came up with suggestions
to help us out if we needed more space in the short term.
“It’s a good relationship. I think that they’re
a good landlord for an ambitious, young and funky company like us.
They do a lot to help and accommodate us. It’s been brilliant
really. It’s revolutionised the whole business for us.”
